Will You Be There è una canzone di Michael Jackson che fu pubblicata come singolo nel 1993. Venne estratto come ottavo singolo dall'album Dangerous pubblicato nel 1991. La canzone è la colonna sonora del film Free Willy - Un amico da salvare.

La canzone è una delle canzoni di maggior successo dell'album Dangerous, rimanendo nella top 40 per più di sei settimane nel Regno Unito. Ha avuto anche molto successo negli USA, dove ha ricevuto il disco d'oro per aver venduto più di 500.000 copie rimanendo della top 10 per 6 settimane alla posizione numero 7. In Europa, il singolo si piazzò alla numero uno nella MTV Eurochart. Il singolo ha venduto 1 milione e 200.000 copie in tutto il mondo.

La canzone comincia con un pezzo della Sinfonia numero 9 di Beethoven eseguita dalla Cleveland Orchestra. Nella canzone c'è una frase ("But they told me a man should be faithful and walk when unable and fight til the end, but I'm only human") che è considerata una delle frasi più difficili da interpretare.

Nel video si vedono delle scene del film Free Willy - Un amico da salvare, altre tratte dal Dangerous World Tour ed altre ancora tratte dall'esibizione di Jackson al 10° compleanno di MTV nel 1991.

"Will You Be There" ha vinto gli MTV Movie Award per la "Miglior Colonna Sonora". È stata successivamente inclusa nell'album All Time Greatest Movie Songs, pubblicato dalla Sony nel 1999.
