P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) è l'ottavo singolo estratto dall'album Thriller . Raggiunse la posizione numero 10 Nella classifica Billboard Hot 100 negli USA.

Il brano fu scritto da Jackson e Greg Phillinganes. Ad esso partecipò come corista d' eccezione LaToya Jackson, sorella di Michael.

Quincy Jones voleva più ritmo nella canzone e così, assieme a James Ingram, la riscrisse e quella che fu inclusa in Thriller fu la seconda versione (nei riconoscimenti risulta infatti uno Jones e Ingram).

La prima versione di P.Y.T. fu invece inserita in un secondo momento nella raccolta Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection. Nell'album celebrativo Thriller 25 il demo è Stato remixato con il titoli di P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing) 2008, da Will.i.am.
